Some time last week, on one of the rare beautiful warm (yes, finally!! ) sunny days, the girls and I decided to walk around D.C and snap pics with the White House and so on. It was just one of those weird days where we felt like doing tourist-y things. I brought 2 cameras that day, Black & White 35mm film and digital. These are the pics from the digital camera. I'll put up the B&W ones once I've developed them. For a more detailed insight, visit my blog at www.xanga.com/coffee_drinker . Cheers!

Sometime last week.... my family and I along with some other families took a little day trip up the slopes of Liberty Mountain, Pennsylvania ( about 2 hrs north of DC). Those who wanted to ski went to the ski slopes while those who wanted to tube, went to the tubing part of the area. Digital cameras aren't safe to bring along while skiing so I let mom take the digital camera while I took with me a B&W disposable camera .

Sometimes when I've nothing better to do (which is almost always), I pretend I have what some might say, the photographic eye and try to snap every little thing. Of course, these pictures never get delevoped cos no one wants to see crap in photo albums . They might mean too little to get developed but they also mean too much to just toss away. Call me corny but if you ask me, I'd say you can learn so much about a person's life from the tiny things especially pics of little odds and ends. I've collected some pics over the years and here I'd like to share some of the 'extras' as I like to call them. This is my life .

Unlike the previous years, I wasn't up to taking snow pictures this winter. I just didn't think it was worthwhile to get all dressed up in layers and go out in the freezing cold below zero temperatures just to get a few snaps of some falling ice. It must be that I'm getting old or something, I dunno .. or maybe it's just that I'm already so sick of winter and can't wait till spring. Can't wait to show off my new sandals . Anyways... here are some snow pics... most of which I took from inside the house. Told you I was too lazy to go outside.

It's 2005 and being the old sentimental fool that I am, I'd like to reminisce back into 2004 and look at my best moments by the months. This has been a splendid year so it's going to be very hard to pick the best moments by I'll try.

I've been so lazy to put these pics up as they come that I'm just going to have to put them all up together all squished up in 1 entry. I know it's bad management on my behalf which is why one of my new year's resolutions would be to put up the pics as they come immediately after any picture-taking event.
Being the end of the year and all, you can pretty much guess how life is...what with the freezing cold temperatures and all 0) ..which I dread. Here are some pics of .. some last remaining open houses, Shida's farewell party (the downside of living in a foreign country is that sooner or later, everyone leaves), our little Secret Santa gift opening session at my house (which was dead fun!) and a day at the zoo with the Malay kids.
